Several new updates are coming to E-Verify to make it easier to use for Payroll pros.

For starters, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) just launched everify.gov, a brand-new website where companies can sign up for E-Verify or access existing accounts.

Additional changes

Future updates will streamline the case creation process in E-Verify, removing redundant pages. Users will be able to auto-scroll through the remaining pages when creating cases.

Also, users will receive real-time feedback on errors if there’s a problem with the info entered in a field while they’re creating or updating cases. Messages will pop up if a user’s trying to create a case that already exists.

To make it easier to find cases, USCIS is updating the View/Search feature so cases can be sorted by last name. General users will also have the ability to view and close cases, if necessary.
